What Product Do We Use?
Healthy Home Builders uses only, all-natural oil, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) free wood floor finishes. Specifically the Rubio, Monocoat Natural Oil Wood Floor Finishes. They are completely non-toxic oil finishes of extraordinary durability. The finishes are easily maintained, and provide a subtle lustre that reveals and complements, rather than covers, the natural grain and patina of the wood.
Is It Safe?
Monocoat contains 0% VOC and has no effect on indoor air quality. It does not contain any formaldehyde, ammonia or acetone – among the more common contaminants found in most flooring finishes. Think about that while you walk around your home.
